COSTELLO CREEK – Algonquin Park
A great introduction to paddling and nature appreciation. Scenic Costello Creek is easily accessed right from our Opeongo Store.
The Costello Creek trip is a perfect two-hour guided trip for people with limited time available.
This thoroughly enjoyable wilderness paddling experience includes all necessary equipment and the services of an experienced, knowledgeable guide.
Our guide will teach you some basic paddling skills so you can comfortably journey along a creek to Turtle Rock and back.
This is a great introduction to Algonquin Park exploration, by either canoe or kayak!
Rates are based on a minimum of two to a maximum of eight participants; the fee for the services of a guide are included. Children may be eligible to receive a 25% discounted rate.
Rates are per person, including guide fees. Tax is extra.

We offer guided day trips Monday to Friday, starting before noon, throughout the paddling season (mid May to Oct.), by advance reservation only. You do not need to book any permits or pay extra for canoe or kayak rentals but an Algonquin Park day pass is required. A minimum of two participants is needed for the Costello Creek guided trip.
This two-hour, on-the-water experience includes a canoe or kayak, paddles, safety equipment, life jacket and the services of one of our guides. We suggest you bring your camera.
At least two people are needed for a booking and a day pass is required for your vehicle.
Reservations are required for all guided trips, with a $25 per person deposit to book.
Reservations should be made at least one week in advance, in order to ensure guide availability.
