The Big Creek Guided Kayak Tour will give seasoned paddlers and novices alike a taste of Big Creek’s distinctive and beautiful geography!
Come join us for a serene and relaxing paddle up and down Big Creek as it cuts and winds through the breathtaking beauty of our Carolinian forest.
Experience towering Sycamore and Black Walnut trees covered with grape and Virginia Creeper vines that lends Big Creek its nick-name the “Canadian Amazon”.
You just may catch a glimpse of a soaring Bald Eagle and one of the rivers resident beavers or white-tailed deer.
The Big Creek Guided Kayak Tour is approximately 9 km, 3.5 to 4 hour excursion.
It is perfect for first time paddlers, and includes a few challenges to hold the interest of those with more kayaking experience.
You will be paddling expertly when we reach our destination in historic Port Royal and our guides will shuttle all guests back to the launch site to retrieve your vehicles.
We have a fleet of modern, clean, and comfortable single kayaks to accommodate, you, your family and your friends.
We recommend children ages 10-12 paddle with an adult in a tandem kayak.
Please let us know if you require a tandem kayak prior to booking as we only have 2 available.
Our team of veteran guides look forward to sharing with you the most unique, interesting, and beautiful paddle southwestern Ontario has to offer.
Please note the departure area is off-site on Big Creek.

10am – 2pm (3-3.5 hrs of paddling with a 15 min rest break)
Guests will be responsible for getting to the launch site 20 minutes prior to your tour start.
