The Nottawasaga Paddling Adventure starts in the Wasaga Sports Park. We will greet you there to get you going on your paddle into spectacular Jack’s Lake which is a small lake on the Nottawasaga River.
You will paddle through beautiful wilderness where you’ll have the opportunity to see bald eagles, trumpeter swans, osprey, beavers, turtles and so much more.
You will put in and take out at the same spot, paddling up river and back.
Cost Includes: Boat, paddle, life jacket, safety kit, brief instruction
Experience: Beginners to Experienced – Both rivers are great for beginner paddlers. An experienced guide will give some instruction on paddling techniques to help you maneuver the boat.
What to bring: You should bring Water to drink (in a day pack so it’s easy to carry), a water resistant camera, sunscreen and a waterproof bag for valuables.
What to wear: You should bring a Sun hat, bathing suit, clothes you don’t mind getting wet, water shoes or sandals to help ensure you enjoy your trip.
